Application
aquacon release agent is a water-based concrete release agent used to aid in releasing concrete castings from rubber molds. It provides a clean, positive release and helps minimize bug holes in finished castings. It does not stain concrete, interfere with color surface detail or finishing and contains no VOC’s, carcinogens or oils harmful to the environment.
Use: Apply a very thin film (.0005 in /.013 mm) of AquaCon to the surface of your rubber mold with a brush, roller, HVLP gun or Kwikee(r) Sprayer. Make sure that you do not over-apply and that the coating is evenly distributed on the mold surface. Over-applying can cause air bubbles, “wormtracks”, “bugholes” or pitting in the mold surface.
Dilution:
Dilute AquaCon with up to 8 parts water to achieve the desired dilution ratio. Mix only the amount you need for one day, as the mixture may separate in the container after a few hours.
