Conplast SP430 is a superplasticizer based on a selected sulphonated naphthalene polymer that improves the workability of concrete. It is non-flammable and has a shelf life of 12 months when stored under normal conditions.

Conplast SP430 is a highly effective admixture that enhances the workability and pumpability of concrete. The admixture also minimizes segregation and bleeding. This allows for easy construction and faster compaction. It is safe for use in reinforced and prestressed concrete.

The optimum dosage of the admixture should be determined by testing at the site. In practice, the total dosage may range from 0.5 to 2 litres of cement per 100 kg of concrete. Overdosage can lead to delayed setting of the concrete and additional air entrapment.

Conplast SP430 is compatible with all types of Portland cement. However, it should be stored at temperatures between 2degC and 40degC. Storage should be limited to a period of twelve months.

For best results, Conplast SP430 should be added at a rate of 0.7 to two litres/100 kg of cement. If the mix has a high cement content, the dosage should be slightly higher.

Conplast SP430 is particularly suitable for concrete that requires high early strength. However, it also provides a further boost of strength throughout the life of the concrete.

Conplast SP430 is supplied as a brown liquid that is immediately dispersible in water. It is recommended to mix the admixture in a truck mixer at a high speed.
